The Islanders Hot Club (Le Hot Club des Insulaires) is a Gypsy Jazz (Manouche) ensemble from Victoria, BC.  This trio of vagabonds re-lives the classic era of French Manouche, American Swing, and Italian Shoes.  Faster than a New York minute and as smooth as a fine Pinot Noir, these multi-instrumental, multi-lingual, multi-talented players will leave you wanting more.  

The group is co-led by double bassist Tim Croft and guitarist Nick Mintenko. The band leaders also double on vocals (singing in English et en français!).  Bringing his mischievous swing stylings to the band, guitarist Mitchell Green completes this tasteful trifecta.

With modern twists on classic standards and classic takes on modern tunes, the virtuosity of these seasoned pros will keep it swinging all night long.

The group has just released its debut album: GREENHOUSE BLUES. The recording features west coast gypsy jazz legends: Marc Atkinson and Daniel Lapp. Atkinson is also doubling as the album’s producer and sound engineer.
